Huntley & Palmers Sentry Box tin

A small tin showing British, Belgian, French and Russian soldiers in battledress.

This tin was first designed in 1910 when it featured a German soldier. As tensions with Germany mounted, the tin was redesigned with a Belgian soldier in his place. This tin was sold in 1910 for sixpence. Manufactured by Huntley Boorne & Stevens using offset litho and embossing.
