Two Huntley & Palmers biscuits

Biscuit - 1939-1945

Two square Huntley & Palmers 'Army No.1' biscuits from the Second World War.

These Army Biscuits were issued to Jack Padgett; he was enlisted aged 19 in July 1945 and mostly served in Germany. The biscuits were similar to those that the company produced for World War I.
