Two cased No.5 army biscuit.
Shortly after war broke out in 1914 Huntley & Palmers began making army biscuits for the forces. Despite starting the war with low stock levels, Huntley & Palmers managed to honour its commitments to the government until 1917 when it halted its supply of army biscuits in an attempt to rescue its export business.
