Whitley's new clinic on Northumberland Avenue was opened by Lady Janet Campbell, specialising in maternity and child welfare. New rooms included a waiting room, a toddlers' room, a weighing room, an antenatal room, a doctors' room, a dentist room, a minor ailments room and a recovery room.
