Oil lamp from Nepal or Tibet

This hanging metal ornament from Nepal or Tibet is probably an oil lamp. The upper bowl is designed to be filled with oil, with the seven spurs acting as wick holders.

This lamp is one of a collection of objects collected by General Francis Younghusband during a march to Lhasa, Tibet. General Younghusband was British Commissioner to Tibet from 1902-1904.
